HashiCorp Terraform is an infrastructure as code tool that lets you define both cloud and on-prem resources in human-readable configuration files that you can version, reuse, and share. You can then use a consistent workflow to provision and manage all of your infrastructure throughout its lifecycle. Terraform can manage low-level components like compute, storage, and networking resources, as well as high-level components like DNS entries and SaaS features.

Twingate is a Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solution that provides secure, fast, and simple remote access to private applications and resources (cloud/on-prem) for distributed teams, acting as a modern VPN alternative by creating encrypted, identity-based tunnels without opening inbound ports, focusing on least privilege access and device security. It replaces traditional, network-centric VPNs with a user/device-centric approach, managing access based on who you are, what device you're on, and the context, rather than just an IP address.
