Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") govern the purchase and delivery of workshop-based training services ("Workshops") provided via this website. By completing a booking, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Booking and Course Dates

1.1 All Workshop bookings are made for a specific course and date as stated at the time of purchase.

1.2 Bookings are non-transferable to other individuals and may not be sold or assigned to any third party.

1.3 Bookings may be rescheduled to an alternative date only where availability permits and strictly at the sole discretion of the trainer. No entitlement to rescheduling is implied or guaranteed.

1.4 Where rescheduling is approved, it may be subject to additional conditions or administrative requirements, which will be communicated at the time of approval.

1.3 It is your responsibility to ensure availability on the selected date prior to completing the purchase.

2. Pricing and Administrative Fees

2.1 The advertised price for each Workshop includes a non-refundable administrative fee of £50.

2.2 The administrative fee covers, without limitation, booking administration, course preparation, account provisioning, and access setup.

2.3 The administrative fee is payable in all cases and is not refundable, except where required by law or where the Workshop is cancelled by us.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Refund requests must be submitted in writing no later than 24 hours before the scheduled Workshop start time.

3.2 Where a refund is approved, the £50 administrative fee will be retained and deducted from the refunded amount.

3.3 Refund requests submitted less than 24 hours before the Workshop start time, or after the Workshop has commenced, will not be accepted.

3.4 No refunds will be provided for non-attendance or partial attendance.

4. Discounts

4.1 Discounts are not automatically available and are granted solely at our discretion.

4.2 All discount requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be withdrawn or refused without obligation to provide justification.

4.3 Approval of a discount for one Workshop does not imply entitlement to future discounts.

5. Exceptional Circumstances (Force Majeure)

5.1 We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, power outages, internet or cloud service failures, pandemics, strikes, governmental actions, or technical platform outages.

5.2 In the event of cancellation due to exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to offer either:

  • an alternative Workshop date; or

  • a full refund, including the administrative fee.

6. Changes and Cancellations by Us

6.1 We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or materially modify a Workshop where necessary for operational, technical, or safety reasons.

6.2 Where we cancel a Workshop, you will be offered either a full refund (including the administrative fee) or an alternative date.

7. Equipment, Software, and Configuration Disclaimer

7.1 You are solely responsible for the equipment (including laptops), operating systems, software, and network access used to participate in the Workshop.

7.2 We accept no liability for any damage, data loss, system misconfiguration, security issues, or operational issues arising from:

  • the installation or use of software, packages, tools, or dependencies during or after the Workshop;

  • incorrect execution of instructions or commands;

  • the use of employer-owned, managed, or restricted devices;

  • participation using a work-issued device rather than a personal device.

7.3 All Workshop content, demonstrations, and instructions are provided for educational purposes only. Any actions taken on your own systems are performed entirely at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8.2 Subject to clause 8.1, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic losses, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, loss of profits, or business interruption.

8.3 Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any Workshop shall be limited to the total amount paid by you for the relevant Workshop.

9. Business Customers

9.1 Where you are purchasing on behalf of a business or using a Workshop for professional or commercial purposes, you acknowledge that the training is not a substitute for professional consultancy, audit, or managed services.

9.2 You agree that implementation of any techniques, configurations, or architectures discussed during the Workshop is undertaken at your own discretion and risk.

10. Acceptance of Terms

10.1 By purchasing a Workshop through this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

10.2 These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force at the time of purchase shall apply.
